Maggie Gardner
Maggie spends most of her work time thinking about stormwater infrastructure and nature-based solutions. That includes supporting LA Waterkeeper’s various roles in the Safe Clean Water Program, managing LA Waterkeeper’s watershed planning events, and coordinating the OurWaterLA Coalition and the Living Schoolyards Coalition Stormwater Subcommittee. She also supports the Infrastructure Justice for LA Coalition and LA Waterkeeper’s RAFT programming.
Maggie has a master’s degree in civil engineering focused on Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure Systems from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a bachelor’s degree in environmental biology from Washington University in St. Louis. Her previous work includes land conservation, watershed planning, and environmental education.
Outside of work, Maggie is an avid runner and swimmer.
